I should start uploading to MT too, since I have the same reasons and logic you do. But goddamn if MT's server is slow. I've seen glaciers that melt faster than it uploads data.

I'm not entirely certain having less comments is necessarily a bad thing. It just means that we can't compare stats with the old days, and personally on my walls that have tons of comments, I can count the ones that I actually find useful or like on one hand. Either way though,it does make AP feel really desolate though when you get so little feedback on stuff.

I actually want to talk to Bantam about what plans he has for the site, but I have a feeling he doesn't know, and I also have a feeling I don't have time to care =X

Nice to talk to a guy on AP for once. I was beginning to wonder if there were any senior members still on that leave the toilet seat up lol. j/k. I'm walling now because there's a few walls that I want to make before I decide on shelving the old pen tool for good. Depending on how things turn out in my life in the next year or so, I might not need to make that decision.

A lot of the older wallers went on with their lives, and the active members either moved on to the user groups @ MT or are calling it quits for now. AP is circling the drain right now, but there's no telling if the remaining senior members will just give up and leave. I personally still loathe MT (being the slowest site on the internet doesn't help either), and once the people I know here decide to stop, then I'll stop for certain as well.

There's no telling if the AP community will die for certain though. There's always been a rise and fall in active members. But this time it's pretty noticeable though.

Also the algorithm/equation that calculate the 'ranks' of wallers has long been a bit weird. Don't think too much about it.

man, i never check my little journal thing. I was about to make a new one, so i thought I'd check, and I saw your post. I just wanted to fully agree with you about navigating minitokyo. when it was first up, it was kind of a bitch, but i understood it more or less. when they launched the "new version" i couldn't even figure out how to submit a wall. and so i asked the mods/admins, and they couldn't tell me either. good job guys! Not to mention, it's been the same ugly ugly UGLY layout (not to mention dark and dreary) for the 3-4 years it's been around.
